1938 – 2017
Arlene Jane (Fouser) Clarke age 78 of Omaha, NE passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Nebraska Medicine – Bellevue in Bellevue, NE.
She was born on October 4, 1938 to George William and Vera Hazel (Feight) Fouser in Council Bluffs, IA. Arlene was raised and schooled in Omaha and graduated from North High School with the class of 1956. After graduating from high school, she began working for Northwestern Bell in Omaha. Arlene met and later married Ronald Oliver Clarke on June 25, 1960 at Mount View Presbyterian Church in Omaha. Arlene and Ronald made their home and raised their children in Omaha. She retired from Ma Bell after twenty five years of service in 1996.
Arlene was a member of Mount View Presbyterian Church and Order of the Eastern Star Narcissus Chapter #269 both in Omaha.
She is survived by her daughter: Susan Reagan and husband John of Pensacola, FL; two sons: Scott Clarke and wife Kolleen of Des Moines, IA; Mark Clarke and wife Delores of Omaha, NE; two grandchildren: Collin Clarke and Mackenzie Clarke; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Vera Fouser, brother: Lloyd Fouser, and her husband: Ronald Clarke.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 7, 2017 at Mount View Presbyterian Church in Omaha with Reverend Vicki Evans officiating and Judy Gardner as organist. A Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Celebration of Life, with an Eastern Star Service at 10:45 A.M., Friday, April 7, 2017 at the church.
The family suggests Memorials to Mount View Presbyterian Church.
