Condolence & Memory Journal

First and foremost. Karol and family we are so sad to hear of Clancy's passing. We had hoped that he would get the medical help that he needed and we could all put this behind us. Secondly and equally important there will be a massive hole that can't be filled by anyone else.

Clancy was certainly one of a kind a larger than life person that we have had the honor and privilege to have called friend for what seems to have been our whole lives. Personally I meet Clancy 39 years ago and from the moment I met him I liked him. His laugh, his sense of humor, his kindness and his wit and the list goes on and on.
Clancy my friend, no one can replace you and we will never be forget you. God Bless you and thanks for being our friend for all these so many years.
RIP our friend.

Just in my own mind I am thinking about Clancey walking through the Gates being welcomed by the open arms of his heavenly family. There is NO way you can't believe there isn't a massive party going on. I want to send my most sincere sympathy to the entire Murphy family. So sorry for your loss.

I work at FSC and got the privilege to golf with Clancy in a golf tournament last summer. It was cold and raining and I left my coat in my car and he let me wear his Bears jacket to keep warm. That was such a fun afternoon.
He ALWAYS had the biggest smile on his face whenever I saw him.
He will be truly missed. I am praying for you family in this time.

Karol,Ryan, Tim, Katie and families. You have my deepest sympathy. Clancy was one of a Kind. He and I had a lot of Bears talk with a few beverages. God called him to heaven to be with his parents, brothers and other family members. An old Irish saying, " may you be in heaven 3 days before the Devil knows you are gone"
I will miss you my friend. RIP

Dear Clancy you are going to be missed by so many. You always had a smile and you fought til the end always believing you would beat this and get a lung. You are now at peace with dad, mom, Kelly,Mike, and Barney. We kept praying for that miracle but God called you home. I will always cherish your laughter. Your sis Lorraine

Carol and family,
Danny and I were deeply saddened to hear about Clancey. We enjoyed our time spent with him at the golf course and he never did mind when Danny called him "Chauncey". He just laughed because he knew at some point Danny would get it right. Those moments will be greatly missed but will be forever in our memories of a man who was kind, witty, and generous. Our condolences to you, your family, and the Murphy and Davie family.
RIP Chauncey.

Clancy was a gem - He was one of those guys you met for the first time, and he was your friend forever. You could always count on having a great time whenever you got together with him or any member of his family. He meant what he said, and said what he meant. You always know where you stand with any member of the Murphy family ( like its some sort of law)

He was a great man, and we need to cherish his memories forever ( He gave us plenty, that is for sure ). Hold onto his memories forever, my friends. His spirit will be with us forever. No one will ever forget him.

Blessings to the family and community - He was a great man. He's Resting Peacefully.

Candle

Sending heartfelt condolences to the family of Clancy Murphy from Larry Schlensig of Shelby, Iowa.
He will be missed greatly. When Larry would travel back to Dunlap for reunions or just to visit, he would enjoy Clancy's company. Of course, they would enjoy an adult beverage of two or more. Conversation were always lively between the two of them and whomever who else might be there.
You never quit knew where they would run into each other, but the event was usually a memory to be had.
Going to Dunlap without Clancy will leave a void. He will be missed. Larry

It was always good to see him up at the FSC General Office. He reminded me of a Teddy Bear- big kind heart. No more pain.
